The best Black Friday mattress deals in the UK 2021 sales from Simba, Emma, Eve and more
Black Friday has become the biggest shopping event of the year. And there’s no need to wait until the day itself (which falls on November 26). With hundreds of deals already available, right now is the perfect time to save on TVs, home appliances and other big-ticket purchases.
As one of the pricier items in your home, it’s worth keeping an eye out for the best Black Friday mattress deals. Leading mattress brands such as Simba, Emma, Eve, Nectar Sleep and Otty have already released early deals, and other customer favourites are expected to follow on the big day.
Without a doubt, the best Black Friday deal on any mattress is this discount on the Simba Hybrid, which won the top spot in the Telegraph’s expert tried-and-tested guide to the best mattresses. It said: “It doesn’t come cheap, but this consistently top-rated hybrid mattress is worth every penny should you choose to invest, thanks to its winning combination of cloud-like lightness, temperature regulation and unparalleled support.”
“It has seven engineered layers which show a near-obsessive attention to detail: a super soft surface followed by wool (which regulates temperature better than foam), Simba’s “open-cell” foam, two layers of springs, and then two more layers of foam. The mattress is 28cm deep and contains 5,000 “Aerocoil” springs.” And, even better, Simba offer free delivery within three working days.
You can save £270 on the Brook + Wilde Lux mattress in the brand’s Black Friday sale, which is offering 40% off when you spend over £500 (the deal is applied at checkout).
The Lux is a luxuriously comfortable hybrid mattress with a uniquely supportive design, comprised of six layers of breathable foam and mini pocket springs. Telegraph Lifestyle writer Abigail Buchanan says: “Unlike most other bed-in-a-box companies, Brook + Wilde also offer three different firmness options to choose from (and you can swap it if it’s not right thanks to the 100 night trial period).”
The award-winning Emma mattress (which was also featured in the Telegraph’s guide to the best) is included in the Black Friday sale, with 45 per cent off plus free delivery and an extra 10 per cent off with the code ‘Telegraph’. Emma mattresses are made in the UK and come with a 200 night no-strings-attached trial and free delivery.
It’s also worth considering that Nectar are offering 45 per cent off their memory foam mattress (which is consistently a Which? best buy). The three-layer foam construction is has been designed for superior comfort and spinal support, and right now a double mattress is reduced by over £330. The single, small double, king and super-king mattresses are also included in the sale, and every order comes with free delivery.
Eve Sleep have also jumped on the early Black Friday bandwagon and reduced their Which? Best Buy-awarded mattresses by 30 per cent. The original Eve mattress is made from three layers of sumptuously soft and supportive memory foam. Hot-headed sleepers can rest easy, as Eve’s memory foam is 30 times more breathable than traditional memory foam mattresses. However, if you prefer a spring-and-foam hybrid, Eve’s hybrid mattress is also on sale (was £769, now £538). Eve mattresses come with an impressive 100-night trial and a 10 year warranty.
Another leading online mattress retailer, Otty, have kicked off Black Friday with 50 per cent off their mattresses. The one to go for is the multi-award-winning Original Hybrid, which is constructed from 16cm pocket springs and temperature regulating memory foam. You can save money if you bundle a mattress with Otty’s pillows, duvet or mattress topper.
