Ed Sheeran tickets: Here’s where to get Mathematics Tour tickets and when they go on sale
Last week Ed Sheeran announced a comeback tour, of sorts, with The +-=÷x Tour – pronounced The Mathematics Tour – kicking off in 2022. The enormous event will span the UK, Ireland, and parts of Europe. As it is an arena and stadium tour, Sheeran will be taking on some gigantic venues, including Wembley Stadium and Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
General release tickets for the long-awaited return of Ed Sheeran go on sale tomorrow on Ticketmaster, Saturday September 25, at 8am UK time (BST), starting with just the Ireland and Northern Ireland tickets.
An hour later, at 9am BST, England, Wales and Scotland will be able to purchase their tickets for the tour.
An hour later, at 10am BST, The Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland and France will be able to purchase tickets.
Bad Habits spent 11 weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart, making his comeback feel a lot more real.
In a recent interview, Sheeran revealed he will not be going on the road alone but will be bringing his wife and child with him.
Speaking on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, Sheeran was asked if his wife, Cherry, will be joining him.
Sheeran replied: “So usually, on Divide tour no she didn’t, and she would dip in and out, but now her work is all completely remote because of the pandemic has made it so everyone works from their laptops, so she’s coming fully on the road, and usually I would fly home in-between dates, but we’re just going to be out.”
He added: “We’ll live in Germany for a week, live in France for a week, it’s going to be really nice, and it’s going to be really good for [daughter] Lyra as well to see other cultures and she’ll be, by the time the tour ends, she’ll be like 5, so that’s good.”
He explained that, by the time the tour has come to an end, his daughter will be starting primary school, calling it “well-timed”.
