Cyber Monday 2021: when do the sales start and what are the best deals to buy online?
While the ‘Cyber Weekend’ officially starts on Black Friday, November 26, you can expect great deals to carry on dropping throughout the days that follow. The Monday after Black Friday, known as Cyber Monday, used to be a separate shopping event for e-commerce. But, now so many people shop exclusively online, it has become an extension of Black Friday itself. That being said, the deals aren’t exactly the same – so if you miss out on grabbing a bargain at the weekend, there will still be plenty more deals to be had on Cyber Monday 2021.
When is Cyber Monday 2021?
Cyber Monday sales take place on the Monday following Black Friday. In 2021, Cyber Monday will fall on November 29. However, it is no longer a separate event to the Black Friday weekend, which gets bigger every year. In fact, retailers including Amazon, Currys and Very started releasing Black Friday deals from the beginning of November.
Where can I find the best Cyber Monday deals?
For the reasons outlined above, the deals released on Cyber Monday tend to be similar (although not identical) to those released on Black Friday itself. So, if you’re looking for a new TV, laptop, iPad or mobile phone, Cyber Monday is a great time to shop. Online-only retailers including Amazon tend to offer the widest range of Cyber Monday deals, but you can expect most key retailers to carry on dropping deals on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday following Black Friday itself.
If you’re looking for home appliances such as fridge-freezers, vacuum cleaners, washing machines and more electricals, check out the Cyber Monday sales at Currys (which price-matches its competitors), John Lewis and Appliances Direct. To complete the home, there’s also a range of bargain mattress deals to be had this Black Friday.
Last year, Amazon’s Cyber Monday extravaganza heavily discounted their own-brand devices such as the Amazon Echo and Kindle, as well as hundreds of other pieces of tech. 2020’s Cyber Monday sale also proved to be great for finding a Sky broadband deal, or buying a new TV, with top-of-the-range OLED and Ultra HD models available with significant discounts. Gaming consoles including the PS4 and Xbox One were also included in the Cyber Monday sales.
